Looking for Spring. . .

Trying to find Spring blossoms, I ran across this grove of leaves.  They aren't new -- they were the same all winter.  But, it does add a bright spot to our rainy days.  This day, was one it didn't pour down. . .

  1. So pretty. I have something similar in the backyard. When everything is dull and sleeping, this plant always keeps things brightened up.

  2. We've had lots of rain in the last few weeks...Its great to find color anywhere after the long winter...I'm just noticing that the grass is putting on a spurt of growth and will need mowing in a week or so....Its going to be in the 50s today but hey, the sun is shinning for the first time all week so I'm feeling blessed.

  4. I like shrubs and plants that offer some color all winter, Paulie. Unfortunately my SNOW covers even my red dogwood bush until the spring thaw.

  6. I'm hoping for some spring. Snow is wonderful, but there comes a point at which you don't really welcome it any more for the season. Well, I don't--you probably would--lol.
