Out for a walk on Monday and I saw flowers blooming already! It isn't any wonder . . . with winter passing us by this year and weather almost to 60 every day for some time now.
Those look like Camelias. I'm ready for some Spring temperatures. They are saying snow for Thursday but hopefully it will pass us by like last week...don't need anymore. Mama Bear
It's a bit cooler here (frost on the grass this morning ~ brrr), but we are beginning to see some early signs of spring. Crocus and hyacinth leaves are beginning to erupt. Following our surprise sighting of the Great Horned Owl, we've since learned it's their nesting season (one of the earliest).
Have you got Spring already?! WoW! The weather nowadays....!! **) Here we have a lot of snow, and I know you would like some... I'l try and send you some OoOOooOOoOO snowballs ;) But how lovely that photo is, and Spring... mmmmm! My season is the Spring! =)
My camellias are starting to bloom but not as profusely as these. I went to Yosemite earlier this week looking for winter but mostly we found cold, only a little snow.
Gorgeous! those flowers have a great pink color,so bright and beautyful!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed! We are still in the depths of winter here!
ReplyDeleteCamelias? They do bloom early!

Wow Paulie! How can roses be blooming already? I'll trade you a little snow for a stem of them.
ReplyDeleteI think I need to become your neighbor! The Midwest is in a deep freeze!
ReplyDeleteOh lucky you! Are they Camellias? Ours don't come out till much later.

ReplyDeleteSo strange. I think we live in very different worlds on this one continent.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the glimpse of spring--spring!
