It seems that you made a wonderful stroll along the river..Meeting noone, the place for you alone, a beautyful light, and a very inspiring place.Your series of picture is very nostalgic, because of the clouds and the greys..A last farewell to winter?...
Hi Paulie There's a nice bench pictured in this post: http://pondside1741.blogspot.com/2010/03/extraorinary-view-on-ordinary-walk.html You'll need to enlarge the picture...
Hello Paulie Thanks for your visit. I had a nice poke around your blogsite and enjoyed your photos. Don't we both live in a beautiful part of the continent?

ReplyDeleteThe Columbia is a huge river by the time it gets to Portland! The railing is cool--you don't see decorative details on safety features any more!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your lovely series of views along the Columbia River ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Looks good. I like those clouds.
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
The river is so wide here it looks like a lake.

I love the railing in the front, against the water and sky.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see a little blue sky just above the horizon!
ReplyDeleteThat sky is gorgeous.
