Snow Heaven
I would eagerly climb these stairs daily
If I knew they would lead to snow "heaven!"
Wouldn't it be wonderful
For us snow lovers
IF such a place existed?
THEN
Those who curse the snow wouldn't have to dampen
the spiritis of us snow lovers
When we get a couple inches of snow covering the earth
And everyone could be happy.

Excellent.. I to am a snow 'lover' and as you might know the UK as had some of the best snow falls in Europe this winter. I was 5 years old in 1963 and can recall how it was then as well. We have now had a thaw and lots of rain so the only snow left near me are grey piles looking very sorrowful.

ReplyDeleteOh - Good idea, Paulie. We could climb those stairs to get away from all the complaints from non-snow-lovers.
ReplyDeleteCheerful words and a nice photo to show them. Here we've rather had a need for the stairs to climb OUT of the snow- haha! :D But the snow is less now, but.. still there- fortunately, bacause me as you love the winter snow! :)
