I don't know the origin of this totem pole but it is there near the dock to greet you as you enter the side of town closest to where my son and family live.
I remember old postcard I had from my father (Hewas near Seattle when he was young), with such totems build by Indians; i like them, I find them very moving and impressive!

ReplyDeleteI saw a totem like this once on the wharf of Victoria Island. The intricacy of the carving is amazing.
