Snowmen I met this week . . .

<

I was traveling around by foot in the adjoining neighborhood after I went to Esther Short Park and these are the snowmen I met along the way. If you really want to see the variety of faces, enlarge for details.

  1. Strangely enough - I haven't seen a snowman this winter. Maybe the children no longer know how to make them? I'm glad that you have supplied some. I wish for much snow (and benches) for you in 2010 :-)

Thank you for the nice comments!

One of the young men is my Dutch grandson; he was then 16 and he doesn't drink alcohol at all.

  6. I thought about making a snowman yesterday, but the snow was a little too cold and wouldn't stick together very well, so I went for a walk and took pictures instead!

  7. You have some good snowmen artists in your area! I enjoyed your walk through the snow at the Fort and the touching posts on sharing at Christmas. Both you and the man on the bus showed the true spirit of Christmas! Thanks for your comments on the icicles. I will be posting some glow trees in a day of so.

The only snowmen where I live are made of lights or cardboard!

  13. You met some wonderful snowmen this week.

Our snow hasn't been sticky enough to roll balls. And the weather has been too cold. So I guess I'll just have to enjoy the ones here. ;-)
