The only patch of blue all week in Port Orchard. . .

See that patch of blue in the sky?  I discovered it on my first walk (back to son's home from a boat dock) in Port Orchard.  It didn't last long as the rains came back within the hour of first seeing this patch of blue.  I know the photo is terrible with all the wires but that is the only way I could capture the blue we momentarily had.  Maybe the wires segment it off to show you how little much better than if they weren't there. . .

Here, I zoomed in so it looked like we had lots of blue sky.  haha  If you believe that, I have some seashore property to sell you in Nevada.  haha  It rained every single day I was in Port Orchard but I got lots of walks in anyway in spite of it all.  I was happy to find out that I had not missed any snow when I returned to Vancouver.

  2. It's always nice to catch a little blue sky this time of year. It's nice that you are sharing the rain with those of us to the south. We need it desperately and I looks like we will get it this week.
Unfortunately for Southern California and the burn areas it seems they will get it all at once. Not good. It may cause mud slides.

  3. Paulie - I had to laugh that you were worried that you'd miss the snow! To be truthful, we are now hurting in the Mts of CO. Snowpack is getting very thin at the ski resorts. Here in Denver, it's low 50's today. I'm going to take a (slow) walk with my littlest Grands. I thank you again for your kind words of encouragement.

  4. How much do you want for the Nevada seaside property. ;-)

It has been oercast here too. But we did have sunshine a couple of days ago so I shot a ton of photos. Gotta take photos when you can this time of year.

  5. It's a pity for the photographer and the ones who live there, the wires. Because such a wonderful view and nature should be without the wires!! But what can we do.. :/ Beautiful photos anyway! :) Glad you hadn't missed any snow!
