Yesterday's sky . . .

It was getting dark and stormy when I went to the grocery store. . .
but there were blue patches in the sky to highlight the new blossoms on trees. . .
and plenty of puffy clouds. . .
another view . . .
and favorite trees highlighting the clouds. . . this photo will become my new header soon.
The sky was dark and ominous in one part of town . . .

and puffy white clouds were embraced by the blue skies in other areas.
For a brief time, there appeared a rainbow in the eastern skies . . .
but all too quickly the dark clouds took over. . .
It was that kind of day . . . brief joys among the threatening clouds!

  5. Hi Paulie, I see you've "met" Wanda! I just got your comment and came by to see the new Header. I LOVE it! (I like trees almost as much as you like snow...and benches...) I like your sky photos, too. It's special that you saw a rainbow (and just happened to have the camera handy!). Have a great weekend, Paulie. I hope your weather is nice.

  7. The picture of your??? town enchanted me. The old buildigns, the trees, the slope of the hillside, and of course, the rainbow made me think that I would feel very at home there.

  9. Hi Paulie,
Now that I know the ground (floors...) you had to cover to get the rainbow shot, I appreciate it even more. It's very windy here in Denver but sunny (thank goodness!). I hope you don't have rain all weekend!

  12. Your photos of spring hold so much promise. Thank you.

  13. It has been like that here, too. The plants that had been enjoying the longer days and warm weather have halted their growth and are wating for spring to show its face again.
