Down on the Columbia. . .

As I approach the bridge, it looks like a plane is headed right for it but instead,
it is heading for the Portland International Airport, across the river.

No action on the eastern side of the bridge . . .

Just one small cabin cruiser taking advantage of the nice day.

The fishing pier is quiet since they closed it down. . .

On the way back towards home I spotted these wildflowers going to seed:

They are just as beautiful now!

  1. I like very much the very complicated architecture of the bridge! It was a quiet day on the river..

  2. Very nice trip too, Paulie! I enlarged the photos and found them great especially the bottom one is very beautiful! Have a great weekend!

  3. What a lovely walk and such interesting sites to see.

  4. It seems that the crowds are somewhere else, Paulie. Soon Breckenridge will be the same - very quiet. I love seed heads, too.
