We walked here (where I also found many beautiful benches I have already shown on my bench blog -- remember the blue ones?)before we went to the Naval Museum nearby. It was raining; my camera was not extending the lens and I was one unhappy camper thinking I would not get any photos at all. Thus, a few are better than none. I hope to revisit here one day when I am visiting in Port Orchard again. I will know how to go myself on the foot ferry and can take my time. . . one day . . .
PS The stairs is a water fountain. . . the water just trickled down the stairs.
I'm sure this place is delightful in summer, when it's hot, and everyone is needing freshness. The fountains are interesting, but to look at water when being UNDER water makes a lot of water for a visitor!Ü
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a beautiful place, Paulie.
ReplyDeleteWearing shorts???? You must be having spring! I cleared at least 30cm deep snow from our drive this morning - and more is coming.
ReplyDeletePS Liked the shot of those stairs.
Lovely park, Paulie. Yes, go again when the trees are leafed out for a different look. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! I've never been to Washington. But it's on my list of places I want to go...someday ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by and visiting my blog.
Hope you have a great Wednesday!
Looks like a wonderful place to walk with family.
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
You did get some nice photos and it is definitely a place worth revisiting. After a week of nice weather, the rain has returned to Sacramento.
ReplyDeleteRe your comment: No, I didn't realise it was a fountain. I thought it was rain.
ReplyDeleteTalking about water running the stairs! :D I like the stones and the place! :)
