And just how cold was it in December -- 2 weeks ago?

Today is Christmas Eve and the temperature is the same number as the date. It is cold BUT it was colder about two weeks ago. . .it was just 13 and 12 degrees for two consecutive days.

Anthem Park is next door to where I live and IT found out just how cold it really was . . . FREEZING!

Even the water froze in the little river and waterfall area of Anthem Park near the street.

Not even one tiny sign of snow tho. . . sigh Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my new blog and I welcome all who drop by. Please leave a comment. I don't know if I will post daily yet or not. I hope to do more writing using prose and poetry to go with my photos. Please drop by again!

  1. The photo in my header shows the Columbia River looking east towards Oregon and Mt. Hood. The condos are on the Washington side of the river with a walking and bicycle path in front of them along the river's edge. Photo was taken near the I-5 bridge behind me which obviously, you can't see.

  6. What a BEAUTIFUL photo for your header and what AMAZING frozen fountain photos. I've never seen such a thing. Thanks for sharing and welcome back ;-)

    Inquiring minds want to know:
Did you start this blog associated with a different email, or did you pay for additional space at Blogger? I'm still trying to figure out what to do the next time I can't upload a photo at Small Reflections or Sacred Ruminations.

    Hugs and blessings,
