Isn't this a cute ornament? I got it when we had our church ladies Christmas ornament exchange at our party for Christmas. It came with a "ball"ornament with a snowman scene on it. Now, there are three of us who collect snowmen and I was very lucky to have the last number to get to choose and I "stole" it from someone else who had "stolen" it from another lady. An ornament can only be "stolen" three times so I was guaranteed to keep it because I was the last player and the third "thief." (Goodness sakes what church ladies will do!)
Well, one of the ladies that collects snowmen didn't get a snowman at all even tho there were several to be had. She was feeling down about it so I decided to share! I gave this little cutie to her! I told a friend that I had to take a photo of it first tho. . . so I can still have the memory!
You're a kind of "Snowmen robin Hood": you steal snowmen and then give them back to people who have not any!! Ü
ReplyDeleteHi! Congratulations with your new blog!! :) Although.. I'm a bit confused about if it's really you, Perbs? Though your heading "Postcards...." and the link to the blog "Postcardsfrompauline" tells me it has to be you.. Hope I'm right! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's a very lovely and marvellous story you are telling us, about the lady on the bus.. And that you bought some food and would give to a man who got his wallet stolen. These are real Christmas Stories for sure! :)
Such a beautiful fountain you have there, frozen ice! Sure it's very cold without the snow!! Brrr..!! :/
Have a nice Christmas time, the few days left of this year! :)
What a wonderful thing to do. We played a game like this and I ended up with a couple of snowman items. I need to share those, or maybe I already did.
