Pretty in Green

Each year, the lady that lives here puts different kinds of metals in the soil and these flowers become different colors.  It is always exciting to see what color she chose for this year.  Unique!

The wind almost blew my closeup out of the closeup I was trying to take!

White Iris at St. James church downtown. . .

Thursday, our first sunny day with NO RAIN in a very long time and even warm temperatures. . . I walked to the post office to get some ten cent stamps for part of my postage to letters I mail to France.  I had forgotten them the other day when I get regular stamps. If you enlarge, you can see the sign for this historical church. All these white Iris were on the property there.

The starkness of the white Tulip with raindrops against the darker shades of plants really stands out.

Another gorgeous Tulip. . .

The colors of this beautiful tulip help me to not feel so bad that we broke a record for April for rain. . . 25 days of rain!  I am so tired of rain but not tired of beautiful flower creations appearing after the rain. . .
